What We Do

We’ll Turn Your Stash Into Cash! Just bag up your items and Tagging Valet takes care of the rest – sale registration, ironing, hanging, pinning, pricing, and delivery of items to Mercer County NJ’s premiere seasonal children’s consignment sales.

Tagging Valet will register you as a Consignor for the Treasure Hunt Mommies Sale.
  • Using your unique consignor number, each of your items will be tagged with a descriptive card and a barcode . If you are participating in multiple sales, you will have a different, sale-specific, consignor number for each sale.
We iron, hang, pin, bag (if necessary), price and tag your items for you, then store them until it is time to drop-off for the sale.
  • All supplies (hangers, bags, pins, tags, etc.) are provided as part of the Tagging Valet service.
We also deliver your items to the sale, check them in, and distribute them in their proper sections.


IT'S AS EASY AS 1 - 2 - 3!

FIRST:

  • Gather clothing, shoes, toys, sports gear, books, baby equipment, etc. that you wish to sell.
    • Check the consignment sale site for the list of items that will be accepted.
    • Freshly launder and neatly fold your clothing items, wipe down and clean your toys & equipment in preparation for tagging.
      • Hint:  Use these best practices to prep your items.
 SECOND:

  • Pop your folded items into a large box (either a cardboard or plastic tote).
Note: Shoes should be grouped and placed in their own bag, either separately, or within a larger box also containing clothing.

  • Large items do not have to be boxed or bagged (unless they contain small pieces).

THIRD:

  • We will coordinate a time for you to Drop-off your items to us at a central location at least 3 weeks prior to the sale date, or if that’s too daunting, we’ll come to you! (See Optional Services in our Fee Structure)
  • The Consignor Agreement and Service Choices must be signed at or prior to Drop-off. 
  • Items must be received no later than 3 weeks prior to the start date of your chosen consignment sale.


There are a limited number of Tagging Valet appointments, so register now to secure your spot! Clients are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

WHAT ABOUT OVERSIZED ITEMS?
All oversized items that won’t fit into a mid-size SUV, such as furniture and outdoor toys like slides, climbers, etc. must be delivered by you to the sale site. We’ll meet you there during the Tagging Valet client drop-off and we will price and tag them for you at that time. We ask that clients bring no more than 6 oversized items to the sale site during client drop-off unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
